As a young lad growing up in Cork, it was men like Jerry Allen that we looked up to and aspired to be like.

Jerry also kept a very good pack of hounds, that are well known throughout the country.

A true hunting and doggy man.

Just heard the sad news this morning...a man who was involved in producing some of the greatest white terriers anywhere to be bettered... Gerry Allen and Tom O'Reilly were the buck and breay of the great white terriers... and their legacy lives very strong in yards to this day... R.I.P.

Sad news , met Jerry in late 1970s , he was a legend in the Cork hunting scene,  RIP,,

Jerry at working dog show about 15 years ago ,,and with his well Known Stafford "Geronimo"
