BigHammo 1
Like many others I started off with weedy worn out air rifles, shotgun from early teens onwards, then rimmies and centre fire. Working on a local farm from early teens, so a very good foundation in safety etc as farmer was a keen shooter himself.Currently mainly fox control, and crows - pigeons etc. Occasional deer, and been on one boar outing with many more to follow. I have scaled back my rifles recently, and now stick with two centre fire calibers 17 Hornet and 8x57. The Hornet covers anything from rats up to fox, the 8x57 anything fox and up; perfectly capable on boar and bigger animals. Also scaled back the shotgun cabinet, now two 12 bore hammer guns. One is new 3 inch chambered, super steel proofed and multi chokes; the other a 120 year old Damascus barrelled London gun. Looking forward to enjoying some new content on here!
