22 mph gusts to 40 mph winds , but no rain and 1/2 moon , 

im mad to get out BUT is it worth the effort only to come back covered mud , and maybe have got a couple of rounds  off or will Charlie be holed up

Charlie will hole up but if there is a good sheltered spot, the lea side of a hill of wood he may venture out. One thing about a good wind mate, it'll blow a stink a good way!
