Sausagedog 7,381
So muzzleloaders are scrap then! What about game meat for personal consumption! Has there ever been a single case of health issues from eating shot game? Are not pesticides and slurry more harmful to the environment? Mmmm I can smell cow muck again. 1 Quote Link to post
Sausagedog 7,381
Hang on....so all 22's and 410's are scrap! Quote Link to post
ianm 2,594
Sold out by those who are supposed to represent our interests. All in the name of keeping jobs for the boys at BASC et al: and paying them to run around in Range Rovers. 2 Quote Link to post

Longshanx 833
I know it's a 5 year plan so I wonder who will come out first with a none lead 22lr round? I use Winchester 42grn hollow point at the moment and it's a cracking round. Wonder if any manufacturer makes a lead free polymer tip ballistic round in time? Quote Link to post

To point out, it does state shotgun ammunition. Guess they thinking less chance of picking up lead from eating a head shot .22 rabbit & rifle rounds not being picked up by the 100,000 swans & ducks that apparently die of lead poisoning every year..... Dervburner 2,549
I can’t see it being banned across the board for all calibres/bores for all uses within five years. I think there will have to be certain concessions, probably for small bores used for vermin only, and old or antique guns maybe? Just my opinion Quote Link to post
