I use a bit of stable matting in my runs for then to lay in the sun on and wax paper in the boxes am very pleased with it dogs lay on it when its warm n make a nest under it when it's cold its quite big strands so dont blow about my garden as much as straw did and keeps clean for a long time 

I would not wash it tho just bin it and replace it

Shredded wax paper is the best I find. Wood shavings go every where, and straw stinks. When mine were outside I used wax paper with a heat lamp above wired through a thermostat.

ive got stable mats in bottom of dog box with straw on top and stable mat on roof of box works well and you can hose it down

Where do you get shredded wax paper? I can only see small bags for sales online.

£11 for 30kg on their sight. If washing your dogs off before them bedding down how long would a 30kg pack last do you reckon? How often do you lads change it or does it vary?

I’ve been using it for years mate. Best stuff I’ve found for the kennels.

its great stuff until it gets in your drains, my beds are completely lined with cow mats , then use the wax paper or a tough bed, the tough bed cost nearly £80 but has lasted for 4 yrs
