In my eyes the f1 is only a starting point for future beddy hybrids an not the finished article in f1 form the goal post as definitely changed with beddys over the years hence why I think the beddy bred lurcher to lurcher is the way forward in it’s type If was no ban Wheaton or bull would add to my bitch , seen very good beddy greyhound deerhound greyhound on lamp before ban lad only ran fox an deer , a type you don't see about as much , was some beddy greyhound collie greyhound pups on here bit back any one know how this litter turned out think ritchy lads name was , would you use a beddy with drop of fell in for the beddy greyhound type that worked to ground yes not be true beddy greyhound but I could live with drop of fell if pups did what beddy greyhound should do an been honest with pups you pass on 2 Quote Link to post

Wasn’t a straight beddy it was a f1 bedlington greyhound I used I used a real good dog from up Manchester way that had age an experience on its side wasn’t a bummed up internet dog the guy was as genuine a dog man as I’ve ever met the use of the dog was sorted as it wasn’t at stud by a ex administrator of the bedlington group that gets on here Quote Link to post
two crows 3,342
there are a lot of reasons being mentioned why you cant find a good working beddy, the real reason is probably because there are terriers out there far better for terrier work than the beddy ever was, and it got dropped simple, like a l lot of other regional terriers collies etc, imho. 5 1 Quote Link to post

Mate I’m no longer on fb or any groups the last fb group I was on was the beddy group I was admin for a bit but that didn’t last this forum is the only thing I’m on i get on here a bit but more so with like you said with all the stuff going on Quote Link to post
