Rolfe 2
Although in retiring at the end of this year...probably! One of our lads has been saying that for as long as i've known him, about 10 years! Our oldest player has just turned 50 and was captain last year. Well Missie........i'm 54 and still like turning out occaisionally..........ok not for the 1st team now admittedly. it helps keep you fit and active i think. Rolfey. Missie 1
Good to hear Rolfe, nothing like a good battering on a saturday afternoon to keep the circlation flowing eh?! We only have one senior side. Well one side altogether actually, we're only a little team in a fairly low league but we have a good time and we're having a good season! Aled 510
Nice one Rolfie, its difficult to hang up the gumshield....i do however plan to stay involved with the committee, and hopefully my son would like to play, he'll have the chance to if he wants to. Missie i've always played club rugby with local clubs and thoroughly enjoyed it, teams that win together sin together! Must say though, rugby and shooting dont always mix both very much winter sports so am looking forward to giving up rugby to some extent as i will then get more into shooting. Wife has said "no dog until you give up rugby!!" Fair enough i suppose. Forgot to mention my passionate support of Glamorgan Cricket had a rather crap few seasons recently.... Cheers Aled

Hey Missie you are dead right there........a good battering on a saturday has been my life for many years. I still like to teach the youngsters some tricks of the trade though....trouble is i can't catch em nowadays Although i played for the first team for many seasons i now trundle out for the 4th's.........when i said to the skipper why am i in the fourth team?.........he replied..........because we haven't got a 5th....aint lost his sense of humour then Rolfey. Missie 1
I must admit, rugby does interfere with hunting but I try and do both on a sat if I can. I can't miss many games out of the season as I write the press reports too and they complain if one of them has to do it! Bless em...

Gin 498
Used to be a good athlete, but getting on a bit now for that, but could still out-run most keepers if need be. Done a lot of fly fishing,- shooting ( airifle ) ferreting, and out with the dogs as much as i can. Used to make sticks a lot but now its just an odd one now and again. Knife making now. Helping running a ferret rescue here. Planning our Countryside marquees for next years shows. I have to often work a lot of over time, so do any hobbies when i can. Enjoy reading countrysports stuff also.
