A couple of pictures from a summer friends clay shoot.  a couple of friends watch on as one of my daughters uses my 686 ss Beretta in 20. The day was quite warm and humid giving rise to a sort of blast haze when the shots were fired like a decompression wave from an aircrafts wing.  She is quite a good shot but hasn't shot for several years now because she has her own family now so enjoy the times that you have and keep the memories like this. because time speeds on and they soon grow up and move on to live their own lives. but these times are still with them.

 

She has quite a good style.  Body weight is well distributed and taking the bird out front.  Pick up the line of the target, look for the second one,  track  the flight of the first, follow through and pick up the second. I told her I expect a pile in front and a pile behind.  She took no notice.   Those two blokes are Very, very good game shots that were advising her on position.  Mother bought me that little 20 as a present in 1986 and it is a pure joy to shoot. It is still almost as good as the day I received it.

I don't think anyone makes a '20' like the Italians, just something in the handling.  Those are the photos that remain with us dads for ever more.
