Sausagedog 7,381
Dog and me got out early for some end of season birds this morning. Three birds for two shots! Not bad for a muzzleloader. The far bird in the picture I found while retrieving the cockbird. It had been shot the day before. A local shoot sometimes visits this same area. I was on a high taking two fast walked birds but I was soon humbled by missing an easy bird with two barrels! It didn't matter, we had had our fun and the bag felt heavy! All the best. The lads at work have enjoyed them too. There is a good few hens left. I'm hoping to keep the gingers down so they can hatch a brood or two. The cocks want thinning out really.
