I thought the lab was from Canada....with Labrador being an area of that country??

In that everything came from somewhere before they got to where they are, if ya get me?

I accept that the Lab owes it's name to the Labrador region of Canada and the original blood came from there but I think the real work on refining the breed into what it is today was done here? :hmm:

No mate  cut the veg and meat (Beef Skirt) into 10mm pieces and it all goes in raw honest its dead easy and they are handsome. In that recipe it says put meat and veg in layers I just mix it all together. One thing I would say is don't try and do it with ready made pastry it just falls apart. Make your own pastry from strong bread flower its more elastic. I whack the flower salt lard and margarine in a blender till its like bread crumbs then put in a bowl and add the water.

Cheers Arry

I know it’s cheating a bit but I have one of these can knock out a good amount in short time, worth getting if your doing a few, just lay pastry on it whip round with a knife dump your fillings in the middle and fold ??

Ever made bridies? I don’t cook, won’t cook, can’t cook haha but mum in law is awsome an wife slowly learning, but I miss bridie’s,  sure if you used flaky pastry instead a pasty stuff an dropped the spud and shit out then you’d have a bridie ?? I think ??

All those things tend to be just ways of using up your left overs from periods of poverty and war, necessity is the mother of all invention, ?
