Ivors is better than Ron's but not a proper pasty. If your down this way nk; try the butchers on St budo square, peaces or the butchers at whitleigh but the best has to be friary Mill

Ok will do cheers....I like Ivor Dewdneys, occasionally have a Ron's at Southway shops, mrs is from there originally, if I'm working that way I'll pop in see the in laws and grab a pastie..lol

Moores pasties are good up here, a bit blended for some but really peppery (I like that)... the best I've had for ages is at Greendales Farm shop on the way to Sidmouth, they make them infront of you with steak off the butchers counter...great fish shop as well as.they have their own fleet, bit expensive for fish though...

Proper Devon desert....Junket.... I bet Arry loves it, my father in laws favourite desert along with Bread pudding...

I hate it mate, my gran used to make it and she was a bloody good cook it was still shit. Lol. I don't like bread pudding as well.

Pasty has got to be made up of chucks not mash and mince and no bloody carrot it's swede.

Malcolm Barnecutt's at Wadebridge are really good Pasties in Cornwall.

Cheers Arry

Is it seahouses that is famous for kippers?

Love smokies, Jim used to send them.down always had a load at the fishing comps...

Talking of Jim (haymin) when I went up and got the pup he had baked us scones with cream and jam....top hospitality, dont let anyone say Scots are tight, he alone dispels the myth

..

He got me a couple for the journey home once when I was up there, must agree he is a really nice lad and great company

I had one Friday, £4:10 for a large one and they are Bodmin mate. Kev it's Philps at Hayle, although I prefer the ones from Hampsons butchers.

Kippers from Isle of Man (Manx Kippers)

Just so you know ?

Cheers, D.

I'm super envious of where you live mate..

Pasties.. are my all time die for food..

I've searched high and low.. East to west..

And, the best pasty I've had to date was from Salcome. A butchers shop...

it was massive, proper pastry, a bit GOOY.. none of that flaky shit....

I could live on the f@@kers!!!
