Mason used to have solid terriers he just got older and couldnt check them as much, I never would use them but he proved me wrong with that sissy bitch she was tops and mother to my best bitch, 1 Quote Link to post

Rickshaw swami 4,122
I went out and did some scouting as it's 90° and coons are up trees.I took along a first time dog just in case. The smallest dog I ever bred.I had fun watching him check every hole nook and cranny lol. Bnf collar on smallest hole and too loose.Im pretty sure my boots outweigh him 7 Quote Link to post
Popular Post Rickshaw swami 4,122
I jumped out of bed at 3am to get ready to go explore a swamp I'm only allowed to hunt in Sept.Because of this there is a bunch of yearling coons there.Perfect for a pup to start the season.I released my older crossbred bitch an hour before daylight. She entered an immediately I smelled a skunk. In Dixie we call them polecats.Skunk spray will kill a terrier unless you can get oxygen to them.I got her out quickly but I became covered in the spray.Imagine pepper spray and sewage. Its so strong you can taste it. After a short break I released the young male posted above. He is so small I have been concerned with overwhelming him.But it all came together for him today a yearling coon for a yearling terrier. Now I'm on the couch exhausted.Smelling and tasting sewage. But I got a young one started so fair trade. Not much better than watching a pup you bred do what it's bred for.Me and the young dog were strutting like banty roosters over a runt of a coon. (The rocks were placed there to prevent the swamp washing away) 20 Quote Link to post
