I use both mate, I like the water based dye I get from le prevo leather in Newcastle much milder smell, the bag was dyed with pro dye, the terrier lead and collar was dyed with the water based Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I've been getting my leather from Le prevo leather in Newcastle mate, I've heard of some quality issues myself, I'm lucky in that I can go and look through their stock, don't know what other places charge, but I got a double shoulder of veg tan for between £110-20, also a side for about the same price Quote Link to post Share on other sites
