lllluke1 329
Bigmac97 has done a few air rifles. He has got a decent thread about how to do it on the air rifle thread. He helped me out when I was doing one of my air rifles 1 Quote Link to post

bigmac 97kt 13,806
Best advice i can give you is TIME just take your time knocking it back to plain wood is the easy part SMOOTHING IT OUT is not lol long and tedious and when you think its done DO IT AGAIN slowly slowly catch the monkey I can spend up to two weeks some times three working on a stock but thats just me . If your stock is to shiny try knocking it back a little with 0000 wire wool LIGHTLY MIND DONT PUT ANY PRESSURE ON IT just let the wool do the work it may save you a lot of work . and if your going to strip it back any way you have nothing to loose have you doing this will give it a matt look and if you want a little shine on it just buff it back up with bee,s wax until you get the shine you want . hope this helps atvbjimmy 1 1 Quote Link to post

Sausagedog 7,381
Sorry Ben. On reflection my comment was not kind. They are good strong dependable shotguns. Bigmacs advice is sound and a good point of reference. ATB. SD. 1 Quote Link to post
