Sausagedog 7,381
I wouldn't bother but this little 20g Baikal is a joy to shoot. A good friend gave it to me and last weekend I added 1/4" to the stock and now it fits like a glove. This cock bird screamed out of the hedge at forty yards or so giving me a cracking left to right at speed. The little 20g was up in a flash, swung through and down it come.
Lloyd90 509
How do you tell what length you need mate? I have a side by side that’s a bit short but no idea how much to add to the butt stock.
KimE 487
The basic rule is put the butt in your elbow and see were your finger goes how much you need to add to get the trigger in the right position. You can add a temporary piece so you can try the lenght before you decide.

On a to short a stock you can tape suitable items on to try. It often is not much needed.
