Got a couple old books on fell hunting. Love reading the stories about blokes and there dogs working the rock piles

I can understand why people would not want enter terriers in "rock earths" but, paradoxically, the most popular types of working terrier around today were developed, originally,  to work in those places.

Defo be an interesting weekend out, it’s amazing the places those wee terriers go to to get a job done. The height of gameness is defo the working earth terrier those are proper warriors.

Not all rock dogs just work rock some can be dug to some are very game an kill a lot in rock or earths , my mate little rock bitch can be dug to an right up to what's in front of her but if deep place we don't dig to her as she be out in hour or so she will drop back in most times get bolt or give it best move on

This is when you need fell and moorland on speed dial , respect to the lads and dogs that work these places

Ignore the negative comments Fair play to the lads involved they stuck it out to the end to get the terrier back and done everything they had in there power to rescue the terrier risking there own lives in the process. They got the terrier back after 3 days that in itself is a result

He works f**k all let alone rocks with his over rated rabbit dogs, I have seen and done earths he has failed on with his mutts so pass no heed of him, he's a chancer
