There you go Daniel, I told you that it would be worth you getting involved in the airgun section and I hope you take on board some of the things my good friends on here tell you. It may be worth saying where abouts you live, not your address but what area / county as there may be someone on here that might offer you some help, or to try a different rifle as an example,  just a thought.

Well I can tell you straight away that the pointed pellets are not very good (I am being very polite), they are rubbish and want throwing away, the vast majority of hunters use domed diablo pellets such as Air Arms Field pellets or JSB Exacts or similar.

I would say yes it is worth changing the gun as there are some very good springer rifles and ones that can be tuned to perfection. I will leave it to our springer specialists to suggest which one although it is worth visiting the dealer to look at which you like but I will say Weihrauch HW series and Air Arms are possibly the highest rated.

I can't tell you about the seals as I don't use a springer.

You could of course go for a pcp rifle as an alternative to a springer.

Don't get rid of the rifle just yet mate.

 

My springers all seem to like lightweight domed pellets - Falcon Accuracy Plus have always done me well.

 

I don't know what your technique is like but, try practicing with a light hold. Allow the fore end to just rest in your hand.

And trigger technique  - try having your thumb up against the stock and, when you squeeze the trigger, do it like your bringing your thumb and finger together. 

Then, keep the trigger pulled back while you watch the pellet impact through the scope.

My air rifle has a very!!! heavy spring.

Liking your group. Was the point of aim the bullseye?

If so... you can bring that more to the bull with fine tuning the scope 1 or 2 clicks at a time.

It could also be your technique that is pulling the rifle to the right as you squeeze the trigger. This is why you 'must' practice your technique with holding it the same every time.

But it may also be that the spring is causing twisting torque when firing... but this is a whole different matter.

I would give the gun and your technique a chance before going and getting another rifle. 

Me personally dont like break barrel rifles. I like under levers as they have a fixed barrel. Its probably more in my head then anything else though.

As for pellets the super fields are prob your best bet. But save your pocket money for some jsb or aafd.

 I would say your gun is fine , or it can be made to shoot fine . trying to get that gun to shoot well will help you understand whats going on . You could pay money for a gun that is supposed to be good but it could have problems , I have had problems with lots of guns , guns are often not shooting properly when  first aquired , I have had some guns that are perfect and still are one is a 97k the other is a tx 200 but their seals may go soon the guns are getting older . super dome pellets are often good or ok in most guns I have had , as stated pionted pellets are no to good but ok at close range
