guys i have just being reading another thread on a dog dealer called dog dealer pete who has ripped members of this site off with terriers and lurchers.

but what about gun dog dealers????

i bought a springer bitch about 1.5 years ago it was advertised on a gundog web site by a guy called mark of fa*******gundogs

the bitch was £500 6 years old kc reg and according to him 100% in all ways, any way he said if i took the dog and agreed to split the litter with him i could take it for £250 but he would keep the papers so i could,nt have him over.

i went to see the dog it look ok he took it onto the waste ground in front of his kennels and had it sitting staying and retrieving a TENNIS BALL

well i took the dog and what a total knacker it turned out to be, it coward and would crawl to you so obvisiously it had been beaten, its teeth were all worn off chewing every thing, it crushed every thing it retrieved and if you tried to use it for beating it was off and would do the full wood or ground its self.

we had a few telephone calls and mark said shes an experienced bitch and she thinks she knows better keep on top of her and trash her if she needs it, well how can you keep on top of a dog that in my opion was part DEAF.

anyway after about 7 months i decided it was no good for me and asked mark if he wanted to take her back, yes he said but i,m skint at the minute, being a guinue guy myself i said no worrys took the og back to nottingham and was told in the next week or 2 i would have my money.

well telephone calls etc and still he has not returned my money and he got the dog back last january.

he has since advertised in the last 2 months around 7 dogs on the gundog web site and he reacons they are all his and he is not a dealer

shit like him should be stopped and shamed for this kind of activetys

I am sorry hear about what happened ..But next time you buy a gundog youll want c more than just a few tennis balls retrieves ,and youll check her teeth .and you wont be parted from your money as easy will you?So look at it as alesson learnt ..the hard way

I sell the ocassional dog on, I trial my spaniels as well as work them, if I overstock on young dogs or have one that doesnt make the grade for trials then I sell one on, but I am alway 110% honest as to the dogs failings and why its for sale and thi chap has certainly not been honest with you thats for sure and 7 dogs for sale in 2 mths .....oh dear

Ive got a better one..I gave a young LEMON WHITE Cocker to a friend to train up...he only sold it and i never saw him again ..I do hope you read this SC ...AS THE SONG GOES WELL MEET AGAIN DONT KNOW WHERE DONT NOW WHEN... to

Hi, I know the same dealer I went yo look at two so called trained dogs he was selling both were taken to some rough ground and sent to fetch a tennis ball, he gave me a hard luck story as to the reason why he had to sell the dogs and was amazed that I wanted to see the dogs do more and would not part with £1000 for each dog, said I was just a time waster. this man advertises for your unwanted gun dog saying he will give it a good home for free or very little money as he cant afford much , he has adds on lots of Webb sights so beware the man is a bad dog dealer

Re read the first post Rob, the asking price was twice this. Moss got it reduced by agreeing to "breeding terms". If I get to rule the world,"breeding terms" will be banned!! You are dead right on the price of a DECENT TRAINED springer,as long as the dog really is "decent trained". Seems to me,the dog in question here had possibly had several owners already and been trained with a big stick. At any gundog event,if I see a dog crawling in with a retrieve,looking apprehensive, my initial urge is to kick the handler!!

yes you have the dog i did start to get her out of her shell but she would still come towards you very nervously, what i forgot to add that was he was furious that i did,nt line her when she came into season why did,nt i well according to him she had only had a litter 5months earlier :wankerzo4:

forgot about thses mails he sent to me at gundogfinder where he does most of his advertising, he has a number of dogs on now.

i placed an post on the site warning every one about his activitys this is some of his replys

like your little outburst full of s**t you brought the dog back i did not buy her back the bull you but on here is untrue im not a dealer all dogs are mine each one owned by me unlike yourself who bought something you could not have and had to bring it back though no fault of her own and you never owned her anyway as you owed me 1/2 litter because you could not afford to buy a dog outright

you did buy the dog back as you said you were skint and would send it in the next week or 2 many phone calls to you later and your excuses just rolled on.

he would not answer the phone to me and then when he did ring me i was at work so sent him a quick text telling him i worked as a doorman and could not answer my phone but he is taking the p*** and i would be going down to recover my money.

not paying owe you nowt anyway spoak people in the no that say i should report you for the text you sent saying you were coming down to sought it as you are a door man living in a council house the word bullshit is a good way of putting it

if the people in th NO say you should report me feel free as i did not threaten you in any shape or form i,m not stupid :stupid: enough to convict my self
