Front Mount Sling

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of a good sling system for carrying Rifle in front?

I lamp mostly on foot ( being so wet) with a backpack to carry my foxpro and odd Rabbit etc , this makes it difficult to sling the Rifle over the shoulder.  Does anyone know of a good system to sling the rifle in front that still allows you to shoot without removing rifle.

I have found one or two slings but all in USA.

Any help or info would be appreciated.

i converted my remington 700 and got a HK hook installed on the fore end and one on the butt

this enables me to use a 3 point sling.you can carry the rifle on the front of you and still get it mounted ready to shoot in seconds.

i can upload pics if you want.

if i was to do this again,i would get a pictanny rail installed on the fore end and buy a magpul sling clip

then buy a blue force sling hoop to connect the sling to it.

i have just dont this with my FN FNAR

i can take pics of this too.

Thats Very kind of you Ted Newgent above and beyond.

I contacted https://www.redi-mag.com/product/safari-sling/ and they said they would but wanted me to send all of my card details via an email , that made me a bit nervous.

On the page you order from I see they will take PayPal so sent them a mail yesterday to say if they send me a money request I will pay that way easer and instant so just waiting to hear back at the moment, but might take you up on your offer if nothing comes back, thanks again every one.

Hello Ted Newgent

About half an hour ago I had a reply from Redi-Mag with a PayPal invoice so have just paid for two slings while I was at it, so should be sorted now, if I have any problems I might just get back to you but I'm sure it will be ok.

I appreciate your kind offer to collect and ship over to the UK that was good of you to offer.  Thanks again all the best Lee.

America has gone completely silly on what they are allowed to export. Such as a trigger gaurd or a sight.  I used to belong to an American site and I  needed a set of Hornady competition dies in 223.  I'd bought the micrometer bit over here on eBay but I just couldn't find the other half and the bit that I  did have didn't  fit my rcbs dies. Anyway this guy out there bought a set and shipped them to me and wouldn't take a bean for them.  He said that if he passed through I  could buy him a whiskey.  I bought a mec  reloader and got hammered import tax and I  think an admin fee by royal mail of about £9 to advise me that I owed the import fee.  Cheeky B's

it works both ways for me

i bought ground blinds for a really good price from a shop in the states.got them in 4 days.

10 days later  i got the shipping/customs invoice, holy fck did i get bent over.

i was ordering deerhunter clothing from the uK,excellent prices etc etc until he said he was going to DHL

them to me.not a chance that was happening as i research it and could of been hit for $600 import duty etc.

so,if you order stuff, get it sent by USPS or royal mail or canada post.you dont get hit with

duties/brokerage charges etc

i am going to order a scope from a shop in slovakia and getting it sent to me dads in the UK

and then he will ship it to me.i wont get nailed with taxes
