Those that you would like to will never show up and I,m older, wiser, mellower and everything hurts a bit more now so that sort of thing is purely for self defence, anyways fishing seems to encompass more southerly regions so it would be nice to meet a few of the northern monkeys off here

I'm all set for a Scarfell yomp tomorrow lads. I knew i was heading into the Lakes tomorrow, but didn't decide exactly where I'd be walking until this morning after discussing it with a work mate that's also coming. Got a route planned from Seathwaite. Just over 10 miles there and back. I'll be up at 4:30 am. Driving for 5am and hopefully have the boots on and walking for 8:30. 

I'll have 7 hours driving tomorrow but hopefully it'll be work it!

Forget the name of the pub but if you walk down to Wastwater there is a cracking Jennings pub built on Roman foundations. Looking down from Scafell to Wastwater it's to the left, there's a minor route that winds down and around that's quicker than the main path down... A pint of Sneck lifter for me
