Mark_mjs93 164
Hello all, long time no see, hope you all had a good Christmas and New year. Now, on to business. I've just moved house and have decided that I want an upgrade on my cabinet. My current one was second hand and is a bit tatty and got a few funny looks from the FEO during my initial grant visit. I was looking into the lokaway lok2k but might go up a size but I'm interested to hear what you guys have/recommend. I'd like something a little more secure as my hope is to look at getting my FAC this year and expand the collection a little. Keen to hear your thoughts. Take care, Smithy. Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
Personally I don't think you can beat Brattonsound for price and quality. Quote Link to post
si brown 8,486
I’m with walshie on this, this is a lokaway2 like your on about.. it’s a solid bit of kit but it’s tiny inside, 3 scoped rifles and and auto and its full, I have to take the kicks choke out of the semi too or it won’t fit in and ammo safes a bit cramped for ammo mods and bolts! the brattons are better value for the money! 1 Quote Link to post
philpot 5,038
That makes three of us but bear in mind that if you are going for fac to ensure the cabinet is designed to take a scoped rifle as all standard cabinets are for shotgun only which is simply not deep enough for a scoped rifle. Alsone 789
Whatever you get, I'd suggest getting a much larger one than you need. It's cheaper and less hassle to buy a larger one at the outset than to have to change up later. A bonus is more spare room makes it easier to get guns in and out. 4 Quote Link to post
