stubby 175
well Ive sorted it out with my local vet, 2 hobs at £50 each which although still dear, means hardly any traveling, they did try it on by saying there was another £40 charge for sending something off after the op, to check that the op was a success, which I argued how could testing something tell you if the "snip" had worked, and the only real way of knowing, is if the jills start having kitts, so they then said the £40 was optional I probably will offer the hobs services to others wanting jills bought out of season, but wont be charging, they will just owe me a favour Quote Link to post
Guest craftycarper
Theres one in elm park which i have used twice, i think it was just under £40 but that was last year Hillpark Veterinary Group 89 Coronation Drive Elm Park Romford Essex 01708 458424 Edited January 8, 2008 by craftycarper Quote Link to post
stubby 175
cheers CC gave them a ring, just in case, but its gone up to £48.53, which is only about a fiver cheaper for the 2, so petrol wise I may as well stick with my local, but thanks for suggesting... Quote Link to post

stubby 175
as the pdsa is normally volunteer vets from your local area, it must depend on the area, cos i phoned a few today, and all of them said NO Quote Link to post
bill88 6
£50 is reasonably cheap.I phoned 10 or 15 vets and £50 was the cheapest. As for the PDSA,i think they are quoting for castration, not vasectomisation. Quote Link to post
