Any ideas mate Carhartt jackets are alright to be fair considering they dont have gortex in them. i bought one for work the only mistake i made was not buying the jacket with the elasticated waist otherwise they work well in my winter temps i only wear carhartt hoodies as they are heavier than other brands. I just bought two pairs of carhartt cargo shorts and they are well worth the cash they are all work wear clothes but extremely comfortable i will send you some links to shops in america but checkout carhartt site clearance section and amazon 1

Nights are around the same as yours which is surprising as you're much further north. Have you had much snow yet? We had a couple of feet but the next round of rain, which we desperately need, has washed most of it away. We're expecting another foot or so Monday night with a few inches and flurries into the New Year. Merry Christmas, mate!

The kids phones are bonging with weather updates most nights with warnings not to go outside without protective clothing due to the risk of hypothermia. My youngest son's comedy weather app has the best advice 'It's Colder Than A Penguin's Taint' followed by the temperature in Farenheit and Celcius. Best description I've heard of it to date.
