Whose going to be the next labour party leader ?

Recommended Posts

Well the day came and went and the result was marked.  So after all of the "I'll hold my hands up",  "I own this"and "I'm very sorry" who's going to pick up the reins and try to form an effective opposition. It is well known that a weak opposition leads to weak government.   So who's in the running ? Who really has a chance ? could it be the abbotopotumus.? You tell me.

The multi millionaire Champaign socialists are starting to throw there hats in the ring already, still totally clueless how much damage people like Blair and steptoe have done, I mean Emily thornberry calls 17.4 million people stupid then says I,ll be your leader, bring in someone like Jess Phillips who still comes across as a council house tennant and someone outside the Westminster bubble, but personally I don’t give a flying f**k really just want to see an end to the eu superstate and would have voted snp if she stood for out ??? as an afterthought how about sandyqueer off of here, got a good ring to it and he is an undemocratic faceless bullshitter so should fit in quite well ?

At a guess I’d say it’s going to be some right on, warped prick who thinks a duck should be able to identify as a tree and that saying “I don’t like winter” is a hate crime.

Be a polished as f**k blairite sort.

Think the comrades have put enough obstacles in place to ensure they get another raving commie, Blair is a very dirty word still in politics due to his taking us into an illegal war with America’s worst president, recon it will be after we have rejoiced his death that his type of politics will return,  as I,ve said before nothing is new just reinvented and we have to forget the old before we can reinvent it again ?

In all honesty I cannot think of any labour MP who I would give my vote to .I think its already been decided its going to be a woman imho they are going to be in opposition for a very long time .

I think a fella like this could really threaten the Tories.

A Midlander who has his seat in the North and a veteran of the parachute regiment, some of that time in the Special Forces Support Group. That's altogether more acceptable (even admirable) to the masses than what Corbyn offered.

How Thornberry and starmer can even think of standing is beyond me they where as part of labours downfall as much as Corbyn

Lisa nandy probably the best of the one that have come forward , Dan Jarvis or Stephen kinnock would be a better choices

Five years in office is a long time, world events can change things and the  memory of the public can be short but when I looked at what labour had on offer I can't see any of them being electable. Not only that but the way that labour have set up the way a leader is elected is a real weakness because it is one vote per member the new leader will always be a radical lefty like a clone of corbin. Maybe without the beard but the same chassis and mindset. In the past power corrupted some and the Tories got the label of snooty self serving types.  Apparently one can join the Labour party for £3 so I might join and vote for the most Luny lefty like the àbotopotumus just for the sport and entertainment value of it all. One could look on it as a small investment in the country.

Edit.   I have since read that the joining fee was put up to £25 in 2016.

That's my plan
