He had a first cross which got him into a lot of trouble around Woburn Abbey deer park! He used to praise the cross to the heights and was going to breed a litter to prove the doubters wrong..His posts were interesting. I think he got fed up at folk doubting the cross and left. Anybody know him or remember him? One point which I don't think has been made in this thread is that the cross generally looks nothing like a running dog so you can walk your dog without prying or accusing eyes. 2 Quote Link to post

One point which I don't think has been made in this thread is that the cross generally looks nothing like a running dog so you can walk your dog without prying or accusing eyes. spot on mate, regards a gsd x grey appearance , my big 1x Buck looks nothing like a lurcher , so mooching about with him ok in the day, most farmers or keepers think he some kind of Alsatian lol, well he is really. but he great in the day in woods find anything in cover, and good in the lamp, he fill your freezer if need be. another thing that people forget is they have great feet/ coat, stamina , like colliexs have as well . its a pity i didnt know about this x 30 years ago , i would deff had one back then, instead of the collie xs ive had , the better x in my mind . but you carnt turn the clock as they say, so i finish with him . regards big lurcher, maybe if i am still fit/keen when old bryn gone i might try get beddy x grey x collie x grey type smaller type dog, just somthing in me mind for future .! 2 Quote Link to post

In the 80s Hancock bred a litter of from his gsd guard dog to a greyhound and gave him a pup. Quote Link to post

They looked like skinny GSDs which Hancock couldn't sell. Black Greyhound made no secret of the fact that he got himself into trouble for messing with Woburn Abbey deer.
