As I see it the Australian system might not work so well for the UK. Australia is a long way from anywhere else and they had a policy of taking any refugee boat people to a transit camp in Papa New Guinea where their applications could be processed. Those who failed had the option of staying in the camp or being returned to their home country. They never set foot on Australian soil.

Totally different to the UK experience.

It would be quite interesting if Scotland get independence and the UK leave the EU. Where does that leave Scotland? The EU won't take them unless they can meet their criteria and even of they can it can take years for ascension to be approved and implemented. In the mean time they won't be getting the money from Parliament, won't be able to trade with the EU unless they allow them to rape their fisheries, will lose around 3,000 jobs at Faslane and their oil industry might not survive the split. Wee Jimmy thinks that she can control immigration, but if Scotland becomes an EU member then it has to accept whatever the EU imposes on it. And how does Scotland defend itself? Ireland relies on the RAF for air cover. will Scotland come begging for the same?

Nice to see the poison dwarf bercow is the first speaker in over 200 years not to be on the honours list, good to see the traitors getting a little bit of payback, also talk of the bbc tv licence fee being decriminalised by the end of the new year which will hopefully see an end to a lot more tosses
