dutchjozef 111
Its been quite a while since my last post. I just had nothing to say..... I'll start with a question: Important for my question: ive been shooting all my life, springer, rim and center. Amongst others, I have 2 hw97 rifles: A vortek 177 with Sheffield 1000 stock, 12 fpe And a vortek .22 full power with wooden sporter stock Recently I bought a 177 walther lgv master pro sub 12 joules. I had put match rifle sights on this rifle as soon as I got it. And I changed the original trigger for a "match" one. With the match rifle sights, it shoots perfectly: at 17 meters a 5 shot "one hole" group is possible (benched), by me and my wife. But scoped.......it shoots like a dog. Ive looked at the usual suspects: Scope (changed), stock screws, scope screws, internals, mount screws, dirty/clean bore. I cannot put my finger on why it shoots horrible with a scope. I can shoot decently, on a good day at 50 meters, thumbnail groups are possible with both the 97's. But I cant shoot acceptable groups at 17 meters with the lgv. If anyone has an idea as for why I cant shoot the rifle scoped, I'd be thankfull!! And now to the "nicer" parts of this post: my newly imported feinwerkbau's 601 and 603(last one made). See picture. Ive made a hamster for the 601 in my workshop. How do they shoot? -They shoot as they look! 4 Quote Link to post
