Early or late???

Just seen this while out ferreting..a bit late to be born don’t you think

Late births are not uncommon in roe, but this this little chap is about 5 months late and sadly probably won’t see the winter out, they normally give birth the end of may beginning of June, I’ve seen them in late September but never in November

That really looks like a roe, I’ve never seen a young muntjac, I thought the ears didn’t look right, I retract my previous statement

I thought it was a roe, but after looking on google images it probably is a munty.
