If this is the current stock?

30 years ago at least the odd one could bend a hare if not catch it.

Few have posted of owning working pures, has anyone got a video of a bit of lamping rabbits ? I can’t find any on YouTube and it would be good to have it on record plus as part of the discussion.

Being totally honest here,Ive seen a few run but ive never seen any of the ones I seen ran on rabbits . The ones I seen where ran on what they where bred for, there are other lads on here who have also seen these same dogs doing there job.

The Deerhound seems to be following the Wolfhound into absurdity. Breeding to big for their hearts to manage.

The greyhound, and once the Deerhound, are known to be born with the heart of an athlete, larger and more powerful than other dogs of similar size. Unfortunately there appears to be a limit to even this and size is the problem. It would seem the show brigade are destroying another iconic breed.

So if it's only got bull terrier and greyhound in it what is it then a greyhound x

One was assuming that there'd be other breeds in it as well blacky. I've known plenty of say,  collie/grey x  5/8 3/8 bull/grey x deer/grey x whippet/grey as just one example, being refferred to as a bull cross ?
