Corbyn represents everything that made old Labour unelectable, and so allowed new Labour, basically Tories wearing red ties, to come in. He is still unelectable and never will be. The voters who put old Labour in power are no longer there. The unions who paid for and supported old Labour are no longer there. To try and go back to privatised industries that were failing in every aspect is frankly laughable even if it could be done at no cost. To try and restore successful private companies, many owned by overseas investors is impossible. Corbyn is living in a dream world.

Sandymere read the manifesto labour put out today, to even try and implement it would send us back to the 70’s and the winter of discontent. Rolling blackouts, 3 day weeks etc the lot. I get it your red through and through but this has been tried and was directly responsible for Thatcher who you seem to hate so much. BJ is going to invest plenty in the transport system, police, nhs etc but what Corbyn wants to do is irresponsible and would leave the country bankrupt and lucky if we don’t end up like Venezuela, once prosperous now people eating their own dogs as they are starving. Anyone voting labour is a vote to destroy this country.

The worst thing ever for a business or a country is lack of investment. Look at our roads, railways, education etc etc. We're follow austerity into the 3rd world or act like we are one of the richest countries in the world and invest in our future.

You sit with any investor and they do a full due diligence search on you, your company and everything associated...I would guess if this was carried out on the NHS as it would be on a privately owned company any credible investor would demand severe changes or run for the hills....

Chucking good money after bad is not the answer imo...a full shake up from top to bottom is required.... both parties will promise the world at this time, its election  lies...

The truth is both parties are the worst forms of themselves... Boris Johnson is a people pleaser, I have never been happy with the way he set himself up for leadership straight after the Brexit vote then disappeared and let May take the rap fir what was always an impossible task... he knew it then, and didn't have the bollocks to see his convictions through...riding in now when May has taken the full hiding is cowardly imo....I might be calling it wrong, but it's how I see it...he hasnt got my respect at all...

Corbyn is so far removed from my general views I could never vote for him or the party, but.... I have a begrudging respect for his belligerent standing and never swaying view point... at least you know exactly what your voting for...now if basically communism is your thing then that's about what you'll get.... he doesn't change...and respect to him for that..

Every year the EU receives around €40 billion directly or indirectly from the UK. That money is dispersed throughout the EU, mainly to poor countries such as Romania and Slovenia where grants are given to build factories to create jobs. These factories are then operated by French and German companies to manufacture goods using cheap labour and EU subsidies. The Renault Dacia car factory and German Cathago motorhome companies are examples of this. These EU grants and subsidies entail that France and German industries are being subsidised by money from the UK that could be spent on roads, education and health. That puts UK companies at a disadvantage as UK companies haven't got the easy access to the countries being funded by your money.

Leaving the EU would result in more money being available for investment in British infrastructure and promote British jobs. And where does Corbyn stand on the EU issue? Nobody knows. The biggest issue on the table at this election and he is ducking the question time and time again and inventing these crackpot proposals to take the heat off himself.

Oh, halcyon days ! Lol

The worst thing to happen to education was OFSTED and lazy parents who pay more attention to “a number” than where their kids would thrive and be happy.

I don’t know which party thought it up and I don’t particularly care all I know is that it’s a cancer !

And that isn’t just my opinion, that is from experience ;)

Edited to add: Just looked it up....

John Majors Tory government came up with OFSTED and Tony Blair’s Labour government has 13 years to get rid of it and didn’t !.......so, as many people have said in this thread, they are all as bad as each other.

Theres no reason to believe Corbyns Labour just the same as there is no reason to believe Johnson’s Tory’s......scoundrels, charlatans and liars to a man !

Remember when Johnstone claimed for a wreath he laid on Armistice Sunday? Moral degenerate. Can't even practise contraception...one illegitimate child he has nothing to do with, and two abortions with another 'lady'. And they are the ones which are in the public domain. He would have been good value for  the Jeremy Kyle show. Even mainstream tories  despise him. I cannot think of a time where I have been more discomfited at the thought of such a man in Downing Street. Even Thatcher kept her word. People think he is funny. He is a very dangerous man.He is completely amoral. His priority is himself. God help us when we get another 5 years of The Eton "intelligentsia". The sight of Rees Mogg lounging on the House of Commons benches in a show of utter contempt for parliament (and we the voters) should be enough to dissuade any sane person from voting tory. I sometimes think people long for the certainties of the Downton Abbey era where you bowed  your head and knuckled your forehead to creatures like Rees Mogg in his top hat and our 'betters' like the Bullingdon boys Cameron and Johnstone whilst they smashed up restaurants and stuck their cocks in dead pigs' mouths. Working class kids were sent to borstal for such anti social and perverted behaviour. These degenerates give each medals and directorships and laugh off  their youthful excesses.

I have always enjoyed reading the right wing writer Peter Obourne former chief political writer for The Telegraph. He is brutally honest.  He is so incensed with Johnstone's lies that he has kept a log of his lies of them and updates them regularly. Obourne was a brexiteer but changed his mind when he saw how the brexit argument had been distorted. If you can be assed, just skim through Johnstone's lies.

I always like your posts mate, I know you are a bloody lefty but I think you are a right sensible lad.

I could be wrong but I get the feeling that you feel the same as a lot of lads now, there is no left or right......just us and them.

Now I excuse your occasional slip up using phrases like “far right” etc because I like you !  ? and I’d rather converse with a lad like you about the merits of left wing politics because I don’t think you come at things with blind bias.......where as  Sandymere plainly does do this.

We could sit here all day long and trot out examples of what filthy bits of shit these politicians all are.......the bottom line is, debate is dead in politics, you can’t have honest conversations any more.....it’s all about the spin and the lies.

None of these scumbags is clean in that regard.
