Takes a real man to keep a thread going to over eighty pages for the 52nd best club in the country. Ahhh, now that’s Bisto 2

WILF 46,786
Klopp said a great thing at the weekend, talking on match of the day he was saying how happy he was at how they played and that obviously it helped that they won but “Even if we had lost, if we play football like that I don’t care” As a West Ham fan, I can relate to that......it’s an attitude lots of our fans had for years. To any Liverpool fan I’d say, enjoy it, savour it, don’t do a Man Unt and think of it as mundane or expected. Liverpool is a true giant of football and has been for a very long time but what you are seeing now is a gift. Its the same for city fans except they don’t share Liverpool’s status in the game.

Liverpool and City have played some of the best football we've ever seen, as much as that pains me to say as a UTD fan, they are both great to.watch.... I know you might be after a rise off me with the UTD remark...... well.... if you like football then some of those UTD teams were great to watch, and as a UTD fan I never found it mundane....perhaps the success became expected, which with hindsight is not a good thing...but the trophy cabinet tells it's own story so expectations were bound to be high.... lol

The rest of us always knew it was fantasy football.

It's the not the team people object to its the glory hunting fan base from London, Exeter etc That and fooking "Fergie Time." Cheers, D.
jiggy 3,209
City and Liverpool football looks better now because the rules allow them to play. I watched that Chelsea goal last night and the 3 defenders stood off afraid to tackle. Soft penalty too for Utd. They might look more technical but it takes the passion out of the game when you can't throw in a borderline late tackle. Including free kick to win possibly all 3 of those goals wouldn't of happened 20 year ago. Chelsea striker would of been turned upside down and the other 2 wouldn't of been blown as fouls.
jukel123 7,996
I was born less than a mile from Old Trafford. I still support Utd obviously but I don't begrudge the resurgent Liverpool. They have done everything the right way , they play proper attacking football and have never lost touch with their fan base. At Utd we have become the cash cow for the f****n Glazers and the haunt of the prawn sandwich brigade. The shit football we played under that dutchman and Mourhino was painful to watch. Liverpool having lost the Champions league final because of a meltdown from one player then won it the next season. You just can't argue with that. .Hats off to them. I hope they win the title this season, it would be great for the game. Scouse b*****ds.
