Keeping dogs and bitches

How do people manage with dogs and bitches on the same yard I've tried it once and ended up with an accidental litter how do people keep them together as I've got 3 bitches but been offered a really nice dog pup

Keep them apart and it's a piece of piss.

I don't have alot of space to keep them apart

Then don't mix the two, it doesn't take much room to box a small terrier off, house train them and then you can be like me, if I open a door there's another dog looking back at me

Like has been said, if you spend enough time with your dogs and handle them etc daily, then you’ll know weeks before that the dogs are starting to show an interest in a bitch and be on your guard, and then keep them apart. Pretty obvious really

a chap called plummer did that and look what happened ? white german sheperd x greyhound x beagle x collie x jack russel x staffy  x lurcher xborder x patt ? and you will get a plummer terrier ? lol

only kidding just gota have good kennel management that's all ? I don't have that problem only ever had one dog in near 50yrs only keep bitches

Depends on how intense your dogs are,there's no stopping the screaming from my two Russell males when the whippets are on heat.I live on a farm, but if you have neighbours?It's not keeping them apart that's the problem imo.

I think I'm just going to give it a miss it's not worth the hassle really the offer was there which was really nice but in my eyes its going to make keeping the dogs separate at different times of the year like work the dogs I keep don't come into season at the same time either
