Rottweil 1
Any recommendations for "budget" chest waders? I need them for a short photography project next month. Just need to stay dry and warm. I had a look around and the neoprene ones seems not expensive, would these be warm enough? Quote Link to post
hambone 950
Not sure about your budget but Vass or Ocean are good. wear layers underneath and not so clingy as neoprene. 1 Quote Link to post
Rottweil 1
Thanks, I wasn't sure what I could expect from the cheap ones (if they would last a couple of weeks). But don't like to spend a eye watering £600 I say being displayed in the local tackle shop. I think the Vass tex 600 would suit me well, comes with a friendly price tag. Should I wear something like runner tights underneath? Quote Link to post

Should I wear something like runner tights underneath? I add layers as needed, lightweight combat trousers (cos their comfy) and long johns if its Baltic. You will sweat like fk if there's a lot of walking involved tho. Quote Link to post
Rottweil 1
Thanks again, I get some long johns as well then (wearing combat trousers all the time anyway). Quote Link to post
South hams hunter 8,921
If there's a chance you'll be on your knees get the 700e with added knee protection. I use them and they're fairly good Quote Link to post
