micky 3,325
I found this place some time ago and this Morning I thought I would give it ago ,my Mrs had to drive me as new medication has affected my vision but when we arrived I could see Rabbits everywhere and the dog was having a great time putting them out off the Reed beds then f**k me I could barely see! my Tablets kicked in and my close vision was just a blur , I managed to get four down but it was a waste of time , a shame really because it is a cracking bit of land with plenty on it but I gave it best for now but I will have a look in the morning with my driving Glasses on . On the way back to the Car was a Trout about two hundred yards from the river there were no marks on it so it probably came from a Heron that was being mobbed further on were two Rabbits on a sling and a Hare at the side I think they had been lamped and slung Edited October 22, 2019 by micky 1 1 Quote Link to post
micky 3,325
Just one customer in my five Snares but I did see a lot of Rabbits, there was a large area of Gorse in one field and I saw a lot of Rabbits run in it has an 8foot wall around it and if I can get in I may do a bit of business in there, would be nice to trap all the open sets in the Field but I could not carry the traps that far . 1 Quote Link to post
ferret110 27
Take a wheel barrow to put traps in or Ferret them Quote Link to post
darrren 414
Why would anyone just sling the rabbits and a hare in the Bush and leave it. Grips me big time stuff like that. We'll done though micky one is better than none for sure. Hope the side effects of your meds calm down been there done it, they normally settle after a while. Keep doing what you enjoy. 1 Quote Link to post
