Went out at 5-30 and got laid up by 6-30 , at 7-30 I was watching 3 roe at 200 yards heading my way they came in to 100 yards , and the buck decided to go back into the wood , so I thought my chance had gone I was just about to crawl out from under the bush I was hiding in , when this pricked came out at 45 yards , I was in a fuffle as to my aim point at such short range , so turned the scope down to 2.5 and to the shot , it dropped on the spot with a boiler room hit 

the truck was a good 1/2 mile away as the fields are so wet I didn’t fancy getting stuck so decided to do the business there and then , back home know gun cleaned and he’s in the freezer

Not a lot of damage the shot took the shoulder blade out and the round went out the other side
