I go to a place where Black Rabbits were introduced for a better meat yield and denser fur over 50 years on that place and you could count on around ten a season  around ten years ago  six bolted to my eldest son which  were all killed, the next day I had two in the traps and a live one in a snare  which I let go the odd thing is there are never any color mixs they are either Black or ordinary colored and the Blacks are bigger .
