Tried to find the Dave Platt thread but seems to have gone? I'm intrested I'm the deerhound grey for my next dog is he the only breeder of the sort? Or is anyone planning breeding a litter of deerhound based lurchers? Not after any bull in the mix. Deer grey x deer and something not to fussy as don't want to get bogged down on one certain x but would like a deerhound based blood in it.

Im after a 1/4 bull grey pup as well if any pups due or planned any time soon

saltmoon dont rull the bull blood out in this cross iv ran a couple half x deer greys an seen a good few go a wee bit of bull blood in em makes a big difrence

Just watch the selling sites, they come on now and again. Some canny looking 3/4 grey 1/4 deerhounds on now..

Theres a bloke from spenny moor who breds em he bred mine. He called dave I think. He breeds them with trev cookland. 

I think my hounds off here knows him PM him he might be able to put you in touch with him. 

They do take a while to settle into there job though.

A little bull blood goes a long way and it certainly livens up the deerhound

Hi guys I'm new here, 

I can't find anywhere where people talk about Deerhound X greyhounds , I have one myself and would love some information about them. 

He is 9 months old and stands at 24.3" currently. 

I was wondering what his expected weight / height would be fully grown? He is a big boy! Would love to get him into working just need to find someone who would let me do it as I live in Staffordshire it's hard to get permissions.
