Tis TM 8
Used to have 20 free range isa brown they roamed around the stables in the midden and all over the feilds and woods there eggs were great and the hens had a great life all the ground to roam around they gave me sum amount of eggs got a cockral he was lovely coloured but he didnt last long he was a noisy f****r so had to go .Also had some khaki campbell ducks started of with 5 ducks and 1 drake after a year we had about 14 they duckes now how to breed lol poor rooster! I have three but luckily they are a bit away from the house so they aren't too loud. I did have my hens free ranging everywhere, but the bladdy fox started taking them all hours of the day, and knocked out a quater of my stock in one month Instead now, they have a huge garden and a small copse all fenced off to themselves, I've never measured how big it is but I know it cost a freeking fortune in decent 6ft chicken wire and stakes. Didn't stop the fox having one of my turkeys though somehow, and its still a mystery to this day, the fox managed to pull the turkeys wing through the fence, and start eating it while she was still alive. All I found in the morning was feathers either side of the fence. First I thought the missing turkey had got out over the top and gotten itself nailed, but 3 days later, she appeared, still walking with half her breast eaten and stinking  I was 7 months pregnant at the time and have never been so sick or upset at the sight of something like that. I wouldn't have minded if I found her dead, but still alive suffering like that was just shockin. fox Had to call my dad to come and :headshot::
