Meece 1,958 Posted September 23, 2019 Report Share Posted September 23, 2019 How the hell can you get permission when you don't have the ability to shoot. Do not take others on land to shoot. If you have been given permission it does not refer to third parties. They and you could run into all sorts of serious problems such as armed trespass ( Max penalty ..... 14 years inside !!!! ) and liability issues if there is damage or an accident. If they and you, are not sufficiently insured and there is some sort of incident, you WILL regret it. If you have taken them, YOU BECOME RESPONSIBLE They might be your mates but don't do it. If you want to go shooting get yourself tooled up. And ...yes it is always best to have something in writing that you carry a copy of. This Fs off do gooders and plod may impound any guns until you can produce evidence. Quote Link to post

Firearms, ' a good reason has to be supplied by the applicant'. Technically you don't need anything to own a shotgun licence. 1 Quote Link to post
