connie 0
If you were going to breed a litter of first x lurchers from say a collie or wheaton or a bull do you think it makes any differance if you use a grayhound as the mother or a grayhound for the father of the pups Quote Link to post
sniper 30
WELL MATE BETTER TO HAVE GREYHOUND DAM AS 9 TIMES OUT OF TEN THE PUPS TAKE AFTER THE DAM SO YOU'D GET A BETTER HUNTING DOG BUT ANYWAY BIGGER LITTER AND MIGHT KILL SAY A STAFF TO HAVE PUPS TO A BIG 30 INCH GREYHOUND OR SHE WONT BE ABLE TO FEED BUT IF ITS A GREYHOUND YOU GOT MORE CHANCE OF SRVIVAL AS THEY ARE LARGER MATE SNIPER Quote Link to post
tango 221
If you were going to breed a litter of first x lurchers from say a collie or wheaton or a bull do you think it makes any differance if you use a grayhound as the mother or a grayhound for the father of the pupsif you breed say a greyhound dog to a collie bitch the pups will be like slightly leggy collies,if u used a wheaton then the pups will end up to heavy although a bloke lives beside me bred a greyhound dog to an irish terrier bitch , the pups made 24-25 inchs and the bitch he kept was first class on mountain hares she would kill a fox out of cover or on the lamp as well but she is now deceased and he has quit hunting. hope this helps Quote Link to post
