Jonjon79 13,358
A Scotsman and an Irishman walk into a pub ................. There's no shame in getting beat by that New Zealand team ....... I hope our lads were paying close attention to that.
jiggy 3,209
It's hard to know if Ireland are bad or New Zealand are just on a completely different level to all 6 nations teams. Probably both. They didn't just win. They beat them in every area and positionComplete dominance. It will be interesting to see how England or wales compare against them to see how the 6 nations compares as a whole to Southern Hemisphere.
stonewall 1,913
hope the media put the booth into this irish team,a lot of the broad sheets are owned by and run by rugby people, ive been hearing nothing else from rugby supporters all yr how great this team was since ireland beat the all black in america some time back in a nothing match ,the country lost the run of itself,we were all sucked in by the hype,we also got our asses feed to us in this yrs 6 nations by england no supporter saw that coming, brian o driscoll said before the match, that no english player would even get onto irelands starting team. i for one would burn a rugby ball the sport is rotten to the core, schools rugby players are juicing up, such are the pressure to be a certain size and weight to hit the ground running if they are to be picked up by the provinces here. Blackmag 6,041
If you want to see how papers can hype a team up then stick the boot in when they lose try being English you lost against a very good team stonewall I can't see any shame in that Edited October 19, 2019 by Blackmag
stonewall 1,913
i hear you blackmag, but we here in ireland totally lost the run of ourselves these past 2yrs,the dublin broad sheets have always given this rugby team an easy ride going back 5 or 6 yrs, while on the other side sticking the boot into our national soccer teams and our gaa teams when results didnt come, whats good for the goose is good for the gander, always call it as it is.
