To be fair you are mostly going to be right on but open land on big slips. They are just a faster windier dog, but I’ve caught enough with bull blooded dogs to not worry too much about the ones I’ve missed. This pup is fast, but she won’t have the wind of my saluki x dog, however she’s sharp and clever as f**k and that counts for a lot on a lot of ground. And hey, got to give the quarry a chance or there’d be nothing left

i wont keep out isnt sharp and smash cover etc there plenty a coursing bred will put there self in harms way to stop quarry getting away

As long as we are all happy with our dogs mate, that’s what counts. I tend to measure myself against myself, but others.

last time i never summer hunted was last summer because i never had a pup
