I have a pard nv 007 brill bit of kit you will see rabs running about a200 yds pluss I use an additional IR on my scope for foxing good cear image 5- 600 yds on its own they about £400 ish .the thing with thermal is you can be being watched lol.

I’ve looked through one that  was about a grand but in all honesty it wasn’t the best quality. Not sure what model it was. Yes suppose it’s another thing they could take but suppose you’d have to be caught in the act somewhere your not supposed to be as if I was travelling in car or doing nowt wrong I wouldn’t be letting them take it. It’s not illegal to buy, so not illegal to carry. Just something that keeps you a little more discreet but as said not a deffinate cert you couldn’t get a tug

No mate I like the nv because I can drive with it on as its not magnified. Thermal has different uses.
