Wouldn’t dream of paying thousands of pounds so I don’t have to use a lamp till the last minute tbh, if I was that paranoid shining a lamp about I’d just stay at home.

I kill foxes with a rifle and lamp, and was out one night and could see the farmer working, I rang to let him know it was me and he had not seen me, I had to shine in the air for him to pick me out, I  also lamp behind my mates house with  the dog and he don't see me either not as obvious as you think.

They are very good bits of kit, but they do push things much more in your favour. They also help ppl with poor field craft and little skill, to catch more.

Thermal imager, caller, night vision scope on a high powered rifle. Still takes skill to operate abs shoot etc but f**k me it’s lethal

Most the trouble is people using lamps that light up the next county when there only running in 6 to 7 acre fields round here!
