Guest ragumup
I suspect most lads dig 5/10 foxes a year but pretend to dig loads /hundreds unless they work with hounds or town/city foxes under sheds etc, it can be hard Some time finding foxes to ground can be like rocking horse shite maybe it has some thing to do with the fact iv killed all the breeding vixens in spring on my ground Quote Link to post

ferretman 0
been out about 28 times this season so far hit one fox every hole went tonoone was home any one else having this problem in n.ireland driving me bunkers i no what you mean every earth at the back of my house is dead. we were well foxed at the start of the season but now they is nothing. i have seen one since xmass but i havent seen him since. they is no sign of digging the earths so they must be dogging them or shooting with the rifle . Guest whitser
i,ve 3 dug so far, thats for about 13 days hunting. i hunt a differeny spot evety week and dont return to that spot for at least 4 weeks but i reckon 6 is better. if your trying same spots all the time the foxes wont settle. i'll be over the moon if i end up with 6 or 7 foxes by end of season.
