Then you have Johnson who also fought everybody available to him whilst being the most hated man in America. You also have to factor in the times when these two fighters fought. Do you honestly think Ali with his big mouth and being a racist who despised White people would have got away with what he said when Johnson and Louis where fighting ? Opinions are just that opinions but people forget what the political climate was like back in the day when the likes of Johnson and Louis fought . That's what I'm getting at, the fighters available to face Ali were of better quality than Louis or Johnson's opponents. A good resume is about the names on your list, Ali faced better fighters than both Louis and Johnson at the end of the day IMO. It will certainly be interesting to see how Usyk does perform now he has moved up to mix it with the big boys . I personally think usyk will be HW world champion within 4 fights once he moves up. As long as all the political bollox, promoters etc don't pull their usual stunts

Tyson was the bigger fighter, to try and argue otherwise is plain silly. Ok so boxrec says it......here Wikipedia says it....... here the tale of the tape against buster Douglas says it..... And for good measure here he is stood next to a measuring board that says just over 5,8 but he might be slumped a bit But he must of been 5,11 cause you say so lol

You're still forgetting the liitle fact that Tyson looked just as tall if not taller than Frazier when they are stood together. The point is there was really nothing between them height wise. You're still forgetting the fact that Tyson was a good 10lb-15lb heavier in their prime, if you try and tell anyone Frazier was a bigger HW than Tyson you would be laughed out the building. dogmandont 9,825
People get smaller as they get older or Tyson was wearing his cowboy boots. 1

Joe Louis, Mike Tyson, Larry Holmes. maybe even Cooper, some dodgy extra corner time on a "damaged" glove saved Ali there.

Tbf it only have him a few extra seconds, he was also given smelling salts to help him come around.

LOL, I should have read all the thread before commenting. I thought the gloves were deliberately damaged and therefore should have resulted in disqualification, the recovery powers of Ali are in no doubt.

Chris eubank had a phenominal chin, but ali 'should've' been knocked out AT LEAST a dozen times lol. Along with marvin hagler, the two best chins ever. Mind you, saying that, tua was just as good lol Edited September 20, 2019 by shaaark
