First time out for ages

Went out this morning, first time in about 2 months (with work) walked 2 big fields and seen a few decent size rabbits, ended up with 4 in the bag and lost 1 down a hole, all between 30 and 50 mtrs, could have stayed all day but had to go, il have a few hours out tomorrow aswell hopefully

             In the first picture, third rabbit down, is that a heart/ lung shot you have used ?

             The reason I ask is that a few shooting mates swear by the heart/ lung shots, especially with the younger rabbits.

mark you dont miss a thing mate, yes it was a chest shot, i prefer headshots but i couldnt see its head behind a post so i took a chest shot, it swayed about for a few seconds then dropped, cheers mate.

Like you say a lot of the time in young rabbits they seem to bounce around too long with headshots,

Assuming those mounts are highs naps... how much clearance is there at the AO? Would mediums work? Got a set of mediums and thinking about a 50mm up front for a change like

They are high mounts mate the neoprene on the barrel is about 5mill thick which makes it look tight, still i dont know if medium mounts would do
