22lr eley subs

Hi guys just wondering of what i have heard is true bit the eley 40g have discontinued?

These are the bullets have the green label and from what i have seen these have been replaced by the white lable 38gn 1040fps.

Is there much difference in the ammo? 

I dont want to go out and buy a brick of they come out like thunder bolts.

My mate has and the box he has just opened is like shooting hmr

Yeah, they discontinued the 40gr Eley Subs ages ago.

Luckily I still have enough left to last me a while. They shot great in my CZ452 22LR. I have read various reports that the 38gr aren't as good.

I tried one box of the new 38 grain subs and didn’t find them as accurate in my Anschutz as the 40 grain in the green box. I’ve been using rws subs mainly recently. Used to really like the eleys though.

In my cz452 22lr and cz455 22lr the 38g eley perform as well as the eley 40g did.Just had to adjust zero them in and they are quieter as well.

Have been using Fiocchi ,rws and CCI.

Winchester are good too. If you like quiet maybe the 42 GRN Winchester's may work.

Avoid Norma, it's rws rejects bin stuff!

I might go out and get a box of each and compare them. I got them off me dad when he gave me the lr. And he said to me thats what ot likes to be fed on
