You for real. ???.  It took us 3 hours today to travel a usual 45 minute journey because 3 different villages had orangemen out for a walk, can you not walk on the footpaths like normal folk.

Today was the last Saturday in August , one of the days I mentioned.. hardly 2 months of celebrations when it's 3 different days ..

Chid are you seriously trying to tell folks that orangemen only March on three days of the year. ???.  What about all the PRACTICE marches. ???. Do different lodges not go for a walk up the middle of the road at different times of the year in different areas.

3 days of major parades , where you'd expect some delays and road closures, most of the other parades you'll find roads are still open , it's not like the orangemen just decide the night before to go for a walk up the road there's plenty of notice given via the parades commission website and parades normally are on the same day/date every year

Must remember to check the parades Commission website anytime I leave the house between June and August to make sure there ain’t going to be any gobshites in bowler hats having a dander up the middle of the road. Anyway I’ll leave at that because this could go back and forth for ever. ???

Just don't go through any places flying the Union flag .. then you definitely won't bump into any orangemen

That would only offend the republican parades through Belfast though as they’d never be able to hide the guns after their show of strength

I think it’s a nice thing to happen really that tradition is carried on in the face of adversity or inclusive ness

after all , orange walks are carried out worldwide wherever the Protestant Irish diaspora have settled . Canada , USA , Australia spring to mind instantly

and let’s be honest , the orange matches are  a million times more professional than the average James Connolly society march , half a dozen guys in Asda suits with a bobby sands flag doesn’t really resonate like a column of properly turned flute players and a few lambeg drums

in all honesty, I quite like that the marches are still carried on
