Jobi 387
As above, which land or region have you found the most enjoyable sport over the years. For rabbits in numbers it has to be Grassington for me, true it can be like shooting fish in a barrel but you was guaranteed a lot of runs. For fox we always had most success in Lincolnshire, we caught a fair few down near Market Raisen. For the big stuff back in the day it has to be Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire, it came in handy at the time as he bought the meat for his restaurant. Now for hares I've never ran any dogs on the fens but we had plenty of running locally and around the Selby area, good hares are all over IMO. Edited August 25, 2019 by Jobi Quote Link to post

dytkos 17,801
Had 2000 acres of permission near Lincoln in the 80s had 11 hares one morning (3 dogs). Dale's for the rabbits, had 40+ quite often. Down here for mixed bags. Cheers, D. 3 Quote Link to post

shaaark 10,825
There were/are plenty of good places up and down the country. BUT, to name the places you might've had success is a tad foolish, and something I, or anyone else with a modicum of sense, would not share with anyone else 3 Quote Link to post
